Master of graphics.
Was born on 12.08.1958 in the village of Oleksandropol Luhansk district. Graduated from Luhansk Art School in 1976, Kharkiv Art Industry Higher School (1982). Works in the sphere of easel painting & painting. His teachers: V. Ihu-mentsev, V. Nenado, V. Syzykov. Member of UNAU since 1989. Personal exhibitions: Sumy (1991, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2004). Main works: a series of color etchings Dialogue (1991), cycle of color monotypes Ways (1998-2003), the picturesque cycle Apiary (2005). Works are kept in Directory of Ministry of Culture & UNAU Exhibitions, Kharkiv & Sumy Art Museums, as well as in private collections Itali BRD, Poland, Yugoslavia, Finland, USA, Japan, Turkmenistan, Canada, Switzerland, Russia, France, China, and Ukraine.
Works in author techniques on the white & color silk, as well as in etchings & picturesque compositions. Has his own trends with the wide generalized contents. To his works are peculiar some features of suprematic arts, as well as geometric constructivism, where in shapes of rectangles & abstract spots, due to lines & color combinations are expressed spiritual structures of the Universe. Together with the wife Anna Sergeyeva, they cooperate in the solution of depicting nature transformations in arts. Nature for them is highlighted as the absolute Beauty with the profound depth & vastness.
